The Lighting & Theatre Technician will monitor the condition of equipment, and perform basic maintenance and keep the work areas and backstage areas clean and safe. Being a part of the run crew for each production, particularly during tech weeks. Under the supervision of the Director of Production, the Lighting & Theatre Technician will provide technical support for production related tasks, including but not limited to: lighting design, light board operation, hanging and focusing of lighting instruments, constructing scenery on an as needed basis, loading in and changing over scenic and technical elements for productions, constructing/refurbishing stock set components, loading, unloading and moving scenic elements, installation and strike of sound.
